Goodwood is launching an exciting new Fellowship on June 26th for its growing community of global motorsport enthusiasts.
The increasing popularity of the Goodwood Road and Racing Club (GRRC), founded 20 years ago, has meant that the waiting list to join has become bigger than the membership itself. Goodwood now offers the opportunity for all those on the waiting list to become ‘Fellows’ of the GRRC, receiving unique benefits while they wait, including carefully selected content intended to appeal to younger audiences.
Now only Fellows will be able to become full GRRC members, so those already on the waiting list have until October 1st to join the Fellowship, becoming ‘Members in Waiting’ and keeping their place in the queue.
The GRRC Fellowship costs £39 per year and is open to anyone to join immediately, whether they’re waiting to one day become a Member, or plan on remaining a Fellow indefinitely. Fellows who do eventually become full GRRC Members will have the cost of their Fellowship taken off the price of full Membership.
Fellowship guarantees entry to the Goodwood Member’s Meetings and for the Festival of Speed and Revival Fellows will have the opportunity to buy tickets before they are released to the public. Fellows will also receive an annual pack including a GRRC Fellowship badge, windscreen and event stickers, and the new Fellowship ‘Almanac’.
The Fellowship complements the existing GRRC and offers an exclusive range of benefits that current Members enjoy and value alongside new benefits, such as great live and on-demand video content, available to GRRC members too. For example, at this month’s Festival of Speed there will be three new, exclusive GRRC live streams covering the start-line, top turning circle and rally stage. At Revival and Members’ Meeting the GRRC will be recording on-board footage from up to 15 cars in every race to re-play afterwards. All of the races will then be available to watch in full, on-demand. Fellows and GRRC Members will now enjoy a 15% discount on selected GRRC and motorsport merchandise too.
Lord March, Earl of March and founder of the GRRC said “I can’t believe the GRRC is now nearly 20 years old, it means a great deal to me, as I know it does to our members and with this new initiative I’m confident that the Club will continue to thrive as we all head into the next 20 years.”
